RESIDENTIAL
We offer a wide range of experience in residential extensions and new houses from the simplest single storey extension, to the complete re-modelling of a house and new build.
Our expertise lies in assessing and understanding how the house works or does not work now, listening to the client’s present and future requirements, and then translating these into new and innovative spatial solutions that will combine natural light, space, flow and practical everyday functionality.
Our goal is to create a home that will look as good in 20+ years’ time as it does on the day the builder leaves site and feels as though it should always have been built like that.
We work with a number of established local builders on a regular basis, who will achieve the required quality of work to help bring these designs into reality.
EDUCATION
Over a number of years we have worked with schools in Oxford, Aylesbury, Thame, Amersham, Berkhamsted, Marlow and Reading on various projects involving classrooms, nurseries, junior schools, science laboratories, staff rooms, main halls and a college library.
We are experienced in the requirements of pupil safeguarding, control of contractors, careful scheduling to suit holiday periods and preparing designs that can be built effectively within tight and complex site constraints.
COMMUNITY
This is a wide ranging category covering our continuing involvement with new buildings for the Scouts and Girl Guides, new village halls and parks, new tennis, bowls and football pavilions, extensions to Arts Centres and works to new and historic churches.
We also carry out quinquennial inspections of church buildings and have training in the care of historic buildings.
COMMERCIAL
We have experience designing contemporary office fit-outs including hot desk workstations, meeting rooms, break out spaces and efficient circulation cores.
We have worked with high street shops on shop front makeovers and gained permissions for office-to-residential conversions including complex town centre units and Listed Buildings.
